Many Believers in Jesus Christ are unaware of the privileges available to us through what Jesus has done. We fear that our righteousness before God is constantly in jeopardy. In reality, we ARE righteous! There will be times when we fail to live up to that identity, but those failures don’t eliminate the reality. Our failures convict us that we need to get back in line with who God says we are.
Are we trying to bear fruit on our own? Perhaps we have all the appearance of fruitfulness, but unless all the good things we are doing are birthed out of a place of true righteousness (righteousness received as a gift from God), all our effort is the fruitless action of self-righteousness.
