Should we try to know God through reason? Absolutely!! Jesus said we should love God with all our minds. And yet, reason alone is not enough. You are more than a mind; you are a spiritual being and your spirit needs to experience God too.
Do you sometimes feel that your purpose is elusive? Can’t quite figure out why you’re here? God creates. And when He does, He gives purpose and meaning to what He creates. He hasn’t forgotten about you! He will fill your life if you give it to Him.
Do you ever get tempted like I do to sit on the sidelines because it feels like everyone else can run circles around you? But what if we choose to not let the accomplishments of others intimidate us out of the game? We should give our all no matter how small it seems to us. We just might be surprised with what the Lord can do with it!
It’s Holy Thursday! Time to reflect on the Last Supper. Is Jesus our Lord and Rabbi? Do we allow Him to teach our intellect, but not allow Him to have a say over how we live our lives? Both are essential, but which disciple never understood this concept?

When someone sins against you, it feels so stingingly personal. And yet, there is a way to take yourself out of the equation and release them from the debt they “owe” you. Because you belong to God, He takes sins against you personally and the debt others owe is truly a debt to Him.

I routinely come across people who are confident that they are "good enough" to get into heaven and others who are confident that goodness doesn't matter. So how good is good enough?

Sometimes the simplest answer really is the best one. And though we may think it a platitude, there is valid reason that this simple sounding answer is life-changing. Until we know this answer deep in our hearts, our lives will be in constant battle for stability.
None of us wants to jump the gun and get out of God's timing. But neither do we want to lag behind and miss out! How can we tell when it's time to wait and when it's time to step out?
